Refund Policy

At First Love Tattoo, we are committed to providing a professional, high-quality, and personalized tattoo experience. To ensure our artists' time, preparation, and scheduling are respected, we uphold a strict no-refund policy for all services and deposits.

Refund Policy - the basics

1. Deposits are Strictly Non-Refundable

  • All deposits are required to secure your appointment date, cover the artist’s time for consultation, drawing, and design preparation, and hold your space on our calendar.

  • By paying a deposit, you acknowledge and agree that all deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, change of mind, refusal of service, or failure to complete the tattoo.

  • For multi-session tattoos, the deposit will be held and applied to the cost of the final session.

2. No Refunds on Completed Tattoo Services

  • Once the tattooing process has begun, we do not offer refunds for any completed or partially completed tattoo work.

  • Before we begin the tattoo, you will approve the final design, placement, and stencil. Moving forward with the tattoo is considered acceptance of the final design and service.

  • We stand by the quality of our work. Should you require minor touch-ups due to the application process, your artist will discuss their specific touch-up policy, which typically includes one complimentary touch-up within a specified period (e.g., 6 months), provided proper aftercare was followed. Touch-ups for client negligence or changes to the original design will incur a fee.

3. Rescheduling Grace Period (Deposit Transfer)

We understand that unexpected events can occur. To avoid forfeiting your non-refundable deposit, we offer a rescheduling grace period:

  • Notice Requirement: You must contact us to reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled date and time.

  • Deposit Transfer: If you provide the required 48-hour notice, your non-refundable deposit may be transferred to secure a single, newly booked appointment.

  • Limit: The deposit can only be transferred once. Any subsequent rescheduling, regardless of notice given, will result in the forfeiture of the original deposit, and a new deposit will be required to book a future appointment.

  • Failure to Reschedule: If a rescheduled appointment is not booked within 30 days of the original date, the deposit will be forfeited.

4. Forfeiture of Deposit (No-Show & Late Policy)

Your deposit will be immediately forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book any future appointments, if you:

  • Cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice.

  • No-Show (fail to arrive for your appointment without any prior notification).

  • Arrive 30 minutes or more late to your appointment without prior communication (considered a no-show).

  • Request substantial changes to the design, size, or placement on the day of the appointment that results in the artist being unable to complete the service.

Agreement

By booking an appointment and submitting a deposit with First Love Tattoo, you agree to and accept all terms of this No Refund Policy.
